The aim of this website is to provide the users with a map of the services that our health institution provides.
Since October 2000, the Orthopaedics and Traumatology department of the hospital in Lugo di Romagna have adopted a new organization system and have created a wing for short term orthopaedic stays (that is arranged over a period of five days per week) cooperating with a wing for ordinary hospital stays.
In compliance with this re-organization process a pre-hospitalization service has also been created which will allow patients to be hospitalized on the very day of the operation.
We have tried to reproduce "on line" all the medical information about the patient, including all the stages that have brought the patient from the first check up to hospitalization.
Apart from all the hospital ward forms all the information about the various schemes of ordinary hospitalization for the most common diseases will also be made available.
Moreover, the website will include explicative notes concerning Orthopaedic and Traumatic pathologies as well as visual information about the most frequent operations and about the most common rehabilitation programs.

The second part of the website is completely dedicated to specific areas of medicine. Apart from discussing the most common problems, it will also provide a scientific analysis of the clinical cases considered to be particularly interesting.
